2.31 hours at sea, 2 people were helped
Narrative
The lifeboat was tasked by UK Coastguard to assist a yacht which was disabled off Kirkcaldy.
The lifeboat was soon on scene and found the vessel tied to the Kirkcaldy sewage outfall buoy.
Due to the low tide it was not possible to access Kirkcaldy harbour so the 22' yacht was towed to Burntisland.
After it was safely tied up and the two crew taken off, the volunteer crew was stood down.
