2.00 hours at sea, 2 people were helped

Narrative

The lifeboat was tasked to assist a vessel which had broken down and drifted onto a rocky shore at Prestonpans. The 20' cabin cruiser was located being blown ashore. Due to the potential navigation hazard and safety of the crew, the vessel was taken under tow to Cockenzie harbour. Once safely tied up, the lifeboat was stood down.
