Narrative

The lifeboat was tasked after a report of a vessel in difficulty at Inchkeith harbour. A yacht was found strung up to the harbour wall after the tide ebbed. On arrival, one of the mooring lines snapped, causing the vessel to fall into the water. The owner was found ashore and encouraged to board the lifeboat where he and his yacht were taken to Burntisland.
