Narrative
Whilst responding to callout 62/2020, UK Coastguard retasked the boat to assist two paddle boarders in the water at Cramond beach.
On arrival, the casualties were spotted but due to a large onshore swell and shallow water the lifeboat was unable to safely get to the casualties. A coastguard team member was able to walk out to the two casualties although it turned out they were not in any serious difficulty.
